Horses Hooves

I wrote this poem as coursework for English.
It is inspired by the Poem Stealing of Mc Duffy.
Mc Duffy writes about poeple who commit crime. She writes about their reasons. I like her poems because she makes me feel my emotions.

Horses Hooves

I have brown hair and I like horse's hooves.
I see a horse, can't resist taking it.
The horse is kicking me and I don't like it.
I want to kill the horse.
So I grab a hammer because it's the only thing I can see near me.
I decide to break off the horses hooves.
The horse doesn't know that this is the last time it's going to be able to walk.
I think the horse is frightened but thinks I am its friend.
I take the hammer and I like seeing how the red blood looks like on the ground.
I think the horse likes the pain because he looks at me with his eyes popping out.
The colour brown.
He has hair that touches my hand,
I like the way it makes my skin feel because it brings back a memory of when I was child.
Having killed the horse makes me alive .

The reason I picked the title 'horse hooves' is because I think horses are strong and they are difficult to kill.
