Last week I participated in a climate protection week with young people from all over Europe. It was financed by the Council of Europe, that’s the UN of Europe. It was very inspiring because we all feel the urgency to do something. But how? With violence or only nonviolent? I prefer non violent because violence does not help the climate. Civil disobedience does because it deregulates the system and the government must give in. Also courtcases are important like the urgenda case shows. Ofcourse the rule of law must exist in your country. The rule of law being the separation of the three powers , human rights enforced by law and democracy. Everyone, also the government must obey the law. My next action was participating in the climate march on 3 and 4 sept. From Alkmaar to the Hague: www.a12mars.nl
